Pike Pine Streetscape and Bicycle Improvements (a part of the Downtown Seattle Association’s Pike Pine Renaissance program) will provide a vibrant pedestrian experience on Pike and Pine streets between Capitol Hill and the Pike Place Market, with connections to the new waterfront.
Construction began in early 2023 and is anticipated to be complete in late 2024.
Work areas are on Pike and Pine streets, from 1st Ave to Bellevue Ave.
Access to all properties on both Pike and Pine streets, including businesses and residences, will be maintained during construction work. Detour signage will direct pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers when necessary.
Work hours typically Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM.
Weekend work is planned at intersections; details to be communicated in advance through the weekly construction emails.
This site was developed and will be maintained by the Seattle Office of the Waterfront, with support from: Washington State Department of Transportation, Washington State Ferries, Seattle Department of Transportation, Seattle City Light, Seattle Public Utilities, and King County.
